Getting There
Travel tips for Bali.
Flying in
Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is the main gateway. Most major airlines connect via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Dubai. Book early — August is peak season.
Getting to Uluwatu
Uluwatu is about 45–60 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Grab Taxi and Gojek are reliable app options. Travel Package guests receive private transfers included.
Visa
Many nationalities can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for Indonesia for approx. USD $35. Check your country's requirements before travelling. E-VOA is also available online in advance.
What to pack
Light summer clothing, swimwear, and a light layer for clifftop evenings. Smart-casual for sunset and night sessions. Reef-safe sunscreen.
Currency
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). ATMs are widely available. Most venues accept cards but having local cash is useful. USD is accepted at some spots.
Time zone
Bali runs on WITA (UTC+8) — no daylight saving. Close to Singapore, Hong Kong, and Perth time.
