For the 8 years that Your Paradise has existed, the vision for the event has always been to create an experience that is about more than just music. Held in Fiji, a country that is not only famous for its white sandy beaches and picturesque sunsets, but also for its rich tribal culture, Your Paradise aims to instill the importance of cultural diversity, and foster the development of a community that will take action beyond music.
Our mission and commitment is to work with community leaders and other stakeholders to contribute to the protection of this unique part of the world in both practical and meaningful ways. Your Paradise is a proud member of the Mamanuca Environment Society.
"The partnership between MES and Your Paradise directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goals, the national goal through the Ministry of Forest to plant one million trees in one year, and the MES vision to support community livelihood and sustainable tourism in the Mamanuca Islands"
Your Paradise is a proud member of the Mamanuca Environment Society of Fiji (MES).
MES are a non-profit organisation founded by local businesses and communities who aim to educate both visitors and locals about environmental issues, and instigate positive action on the ground through volunteer programs and workshops.
MES are totally immersed in all areas of marine protection, from collecting specific data from the reefs, waterways, local flora and fauna, to monitoring human impacts from waste management practises and supporting scientists in their work.
As members of the MES, Your Paradise supports all of its initiatives and guidelines.
Guests can join well-being sessions hosted by world renown Yogis and fitness instructors, sit in with artists for a meal, paddle board with a complete stranger or a showdown volleyball game with the island staff. Your Paradise's capacity and intimacy fosters unity. Staff, performing artists and guests from all over the world can interact with each other on a personal level and make life-long connections.
As a community we are continually looking for ways to support the local villages, the resort staff, and the broader Fijian community when in need. Our ‘COVID-19 Appeal’ has delivered over 20,000 meals to Fijian families in need.
"A huge Vinaka Vaka Levu to Your Paradise for donating food parcels to the Plantation Island Resort staff that are currently out of work due to the Pandemic."
It is a requirement for all Your Paradise staff and volunteers to ‘get their hands dirty’, planting trees and mangroves as part of our annual commitment to support the growth of marine plant life that is integral to maintaining the structure of the waterways and reefs around the island.
Your Paradise events, add-ons, and bars will not serve single use plastic cups. All drinks will be served in reusable biodegradable cups.
Your Paradise will continue to expand its environmental programs and fundraising initiatives to not only assist the local community, but to leave a lasting impression on all guests, with the goal of creating life-long ambassadors across the globe.
